A traveler can feel uneasy particularly if the person has come from another time zone. Each of the travelers requires an alarm clock of his own. An alarm clock is one of the most useful companions to carry whether you go for business trip, on vacation or traveling for any other purpose. Thus you do not have to depend on anyone and keep a track of your own timing.

The special characteristic of a travel alarm clock is you can select the alarm according to your choice. If you record your favorite song then on the set time the clock will automatically play that. There are also some other soothing sounds available. But if you have a sound sleep then for you the alarm clock with a soft, low tone will not work. Its better you select a loud alarm sound that can wake you up easily.
Do not select an alarm clock, which you have to plug in because power failure is uncertain and you may have to suffer for it. And if this takes place then your alarm clock will be of no use. Also, different countries, such as the US, Spain and Australia may have different outlets.
Such alarm clocks also have their own setbacks like your regular alarm clocks. For example, before alarming the battery may run out or if the clock shakes then the battery within the clock may move and thus the alarm may not work.
